Shines/Footwork Men and Ladies’ styling
(What to do when dancing open, open foot work & shines)
this class is concentrated on style and smoothing out your steps. This class will help you learn foot work combination and free styling.
Prerequisite: Must have understanding of time & rhythm, and have completed Beginner levels “1”

Beginner Levels:

(Basics) Beginner Level “1”
This is the level where you start your journey into the world of salsa/mambo dancing.
In this level you will learn the basic foundation of your “chord basic steps” applying timing, leading, and following connection.

(Let’s start Moving) Beginner Level “2”
This level should be taken after you have master level “1”. In this level you will build on what you have learned in level “1”. In addition, you will learn new elements and components that will teach you transition and directional movements applying timing, leading, and following connection.

(Let’s start Turning) Beginner Level “3”
This level should be taken after you have master level “2”. In this level you will build on what you have learned in level “1” and “2”. In addition, you will learn how to prep and execute your basic inside and out side turn, combining the elements and components of level “1” and “2”, and applying timing, leading, and following connection.
Prerequisite: (Basics) Level “1”, and (Let’s start moving) Level “2”.

(Let’s start Moving and Turning) Beginner Level “4”
This level should be taken after you have mastered level “1, 2, &3”. In this level you will build on what you have learned in level “1, 2 &3”. In addition, you will learn how to combine your inside and out side turn, and you will be introduce to the in-and-out turn, combining the elements and components of level “1, 2, &3”, and applying timing, leading, and following connection.

Intermediate Levels:

(It’s time for Checks) Intermediate Level “1&2”
This level should be taken after you have mastered all of the sub-levels in the beginner levels. In this level you will learn how to lead/follow checks basics and turns combinations, combining the elements and components of all previous levels and applying timing, leading, and following connection.
Prerequisite: All of the sub-levels in the Beginner Level.

(Let’s do prep steps for spins “Drills”) Intermediate Level “1&2”
This level should be taken after you have mastered all of the sub-levels in the beginner levels and Intermediate level “1, 2, &3”. In this level you will learn how to lead/follow check turns and in and out turns combinations, combining the elements and components of all previous levels and applying timing, leading, and following connection.
Prerequisite: All of the sub-levels in the Beginner Level, and Intermediate Level “1, 2, &3”

(Traveling Turns) Intermediate Level “3&4”
This level should be taken after you have mastered all of the sub-levels in the beginner levels and Intermediate level “1”. In addition, you will learn how to lead/follow traveling inside and out side turns and combinations, combining the elements and components of all previous levels and applying timing, leading, and following connection.

Advance/Intermediate Levels:

(Let’s start turning heads) Advance/Intermediate Level “1&2”
This level should be taken after you have mastered and complete all of the sub-levels in the beginner levels, and intermediate levels. In this level you will learn how to lead/follow and execute pattern combinations that are meant to make people notice you on the dance floor.
Prerequisite: All of the sub-levels in the Beginner & Intermediate Levels, plus movement and styling.

(Let’s do cool and complicated patterns) Advance/Intermediate Level “1&2”
This level should be taken after you have mastered and complete all of the sub-levels in the beginner levels, intermediate levels, and advance/intermediate level “1”. In this level you will learn how to lead/follow and execute very complicated pattern combinations that are meant to make people notice you on the dance floor.
Prerequisite: Have complete knowledge of our Salsa/Mambo curriculum. You need to already be clubbing and have proper movement, style, and fluidity.

Time & Rhythm (special workshop to be announced)
this class is design to help you understand and introduce you to time and rhythm. In this class you will learn to find the beats in salsa/mambo music. If you know you have problem hearing the timing in salsa/mambo music, this class is a must because it will help you understand and train your ear thru concentration of dance drills to find the beat in any type of music by isolating different instruments within a specific song.
Prerequisite: (must registered for this class) this is a special workshop.
