Class Information and Description
Beginner Levels:
Basics - Beginner Level “1” The most important level (8 week course)
This is the level is where you start your journey into the world of salsa/mambo dancing. In this level you will learn the basic foundation of your “chord basic steps” insde, outside turns, back charges, & cbl. In addition you will learn timing, leading, and following connection.

Beginner Level “2" - Let’s start Moving and Turning. (8 to 16 weeks)
This level should be taken after you have master level “1”. In this level you will build on what you have learned in level “1”. In addition, you will learn how to amalgamate the inside and out side turn, combining the elements and components of level “1”, and applying timing, leading, and following connection.
Prerequisite: (Basics-Beginner) Level “1”.

Intermediate Levels:
Intermediate Level “1”. Checks & Amalgamations (16 to 20 weeks)
This level should be taken after you have mastered all of the sub-levels in the beginner levels. In this level you will learn how to lead/follow checks, copas, double turns, men inside and out, and combining the elements and components of all previous levels and applying timing, leading, and following connection.
Prerequisite: All of the sub-levels in the Beginner Level.

Intermediate Level “2” (Spins “Drills” & combine components)
This level should be taken after you have mastered all of the sub-levels in the beginner levels and Intermediate level “1”. In this level you will learn how to lead/follow check turns and in and out turns combinations, combining the elements and components of all previous levels and applying timing, leading, and following connection.
Prerequisite: All of the sub-levels in the Beginner Level, and Intermediate Level “1”

Intermediate/Advance Level:
Intermediate/Advance - (The never ending level) It’s time to become creative, Let’s start turning heads.
This level should be taken after you have mastered and complete all of the sub-levels in the beginner levels, and intermediate levels. In this level you will learn how to lead/follow and execute challenging pattern & combinations that are meant to make people notice you on the dance floor. Every week you'll be learning a new pattern combination.
Prerequisite: All of the sub-levels in the Beginner & Intermediate Levels, plus movement and styling.

Shines & open foot work (Men and Ladies’ styling - What to do when dancing open)
this class is concentrated on style and smoothing out your steps. This class will help you learn foot work combination and free styling.
Prerequisite: Must have understanding of time & rhythm, and have completed Beginner levels “1, & 2”

Ladies Styling - For the ladies only-
Sensual Body Movement, Isolations, Posture, Balancing, and Music Interpretation, as well as Arms & Hands Styling.
Prerequisite: Must have understanding of time & rhythm, and have completed Beginner levels “1, & 2”

Bachata Class - For everyone-
Learn to dance Bachata. open for everyone. styling, interpretation, and amalgamation of rhythms.
Prerequisite: A great attitude and an open mind to learn Bachata dancing!

Time & Rhythm (special workshop to be announced)
this class is design to help you understand and introduce you to time and rhythm. In this class you will learn to find the beats in salsa/mambo music. If you know you have problem hearing the timing in salsa/mambo music, this class is a must because it will help you understand and train your ear thru concentration of dance drills to find the beat in any type of music by isolating different instruments within a specific song.
Prerequisite: (must registered for this class) this is a special workshop.
